Qualified Solar Installers

Beware of telephone and on-line solicitations from companies you do not know. For any solar provider, find out where the head office is, what part of work is done in-house or subcontracted, and who you call if there’s a problem. Ask about professional solar certification with the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) and safety (fall protection) systems that they use. Beware of paying over 10-20 percent down until solar panels have been delivered to your property.

The solar companies listed below are strong, local businesses that have been providing solar and/or other energy services for many years. Always contact two or three companies (noting whether primarily residential or commercial) to request a free proposal and compare results.
